Luton – Vauxhall has been honoured with the accolade of ‘Manufacturer Partner Over 10,000 Registrations’ by Europe’s largest fleet, The Motability Scheme. This is the third time Vauxhall has been awarded this top honour from Motability, the UK’s leading car scheme for disabled people.
"To take the top spot in this award, Vauxhall has worked with Motability Operations to offer 14 per cent of cars on the Motability Scheme with no advance payment, including models of all sizes,” said Motability’s judges. Vauxhall’s commitment to providing a wide breadth of models benefitting from low emissions and an almost 50 per cent increase in applications was also noted.
New Meriva also received special mention for its flexibility of seating and doors.
“As twice previous winners of this award, Vauxhall has once again showcased its firm support of Motability with clear evidence that customer needs are at the heart of all decisions," said Mark Wheeler, Head of Manufacturer and Dealer Relations, Motability Operations.
“It’s an honour to be recognised by such a large fleet organisation which does so much good work to assist those with limited mobility," said Steve Catlin, Fleet Marketing and Motability Manager, Vauxhall Motors. "Winning the ‘Manufacturer Partner’ award is also a great reward to all Vauxhall employees who have helped us build such a compelling fleet offering and have shown true commitment to fulfilling all our customers’ needs, and our highly-engaged retailer network. With ever more innovative products to be launched, not least the extended range electric vehicle, Ampera, Vauxhall will continue to offer solutions which meet the needs of fleet owners and drivers.”
