Ones to Watch Designers Announced
Four New Innovative Designers Debut at LFW

One of London’s most exciting showcases, Vauxhall Fashion Scout’s “Ones To Watch”, is delighted to announce its AW10 selection. A leading platform for innovative designers Ones To Watch AW10 will present Askh, Eudon Choi, David Longshaw and Florencia Kozuch in a back-to-back show this London Fashion Week.
Over the past two seasons Ones to Watch has successfully launched the careers of a new generation of emerging young designers. Alumni include Dean Quinn, Alice Palmer, Ada Zanditon, Lu Flux and this season’s Merit award winner Hermione de Paula. The new line-up presents an eclectic mix, showcasing the best in men’s and women’s design talent.
Formally trained at the Royal College of Art, Eudon Choi designed menswear before successfully launching his debut women line for SS10. Choi cleverly fuses his acute eye for menswear detailing, with a strong understanding of dressing the female form. Choi creates expertly tailored designs that are iconic, confident and uncompromisingly feminine. Before starting his own label Choi worked as senior designer at Twenty8Twelve under Savannah Miller, where his unique handwriting could be seen across the collections.
Since graduating from the Royal college of Art in 2007 David Longshaw has gained a number of esteemed acknowledgements from the Fashion industry, including nominations from ITS6 and Le Vif weekend. Longshaw has also worked at prestigious fashion houses Maxmara and Alberta Ferretti.
Originating from Argentina, Florencia Kozuch’s designs draw inspiration from her native home in Buenos Aires. Florencia fuses indigenous craft from South American Aborigines with innovative textile application and shape making. Florencia’s creations are dramatic bold and theatrical, producing pieces that are uncompromisingly beautiful.
Newly formed Askh comprises of MA graduates Anne Sofie Madsen and Katrine Hedegaard. Already recognised among the Danish fashion elite the duo is known for their inventive fusion of ready to wear and couture design. Askh is a mixture of men’s and womenswear blending relaxed separates with avant garde creations. AW10 see’s Askh present their first collection to a London Fashion Week audience.

February 2009 will be the eighth season that Vauxhall Fashion Scout has showcased innovative design talent during London Fashion Week. The shows will take place at their new venue Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden, a 3 minute walk from the BFC’s Somerset House venue .
The Ones To Watch scheme is open to all new designers showing for the first time.
