TWO NEW POSITIONS ANNOUNCED AT VAUXHALL PRESS OFFICE

Luton – Vauxhall Press Office is expanding the scope of two members of its team, with the aim of further enhancing its first-class level of service to all media.
Veronica Borrelli-Painter, Vauxhall product PR’s longest serving member, is taking on an all-new role as Press Officer, Heritage & Special Events. V will be responsible for promoting Vauxhall’s 72-strong fleet of heritage vehicles – one of the largest manufacturer-owned collections in the UK – and developing more media interest in the vehicles. The cars (and commercials) range from 1903 to date, and are – for the most part – road legal and ready to be driven.
Veronica will also be organising Vauxhall PR’s specialist events, such as regional car launches, CV events and focused activities relating to technology, fleet and aftersales.

Amy McEvoy, who started with Vauxhall in 2010 as Press Fleet Coordinator, is now taking on further responsibility as Press Fleet and Product Events Officer. While Amy will continue to be journalists’ first point of contact for all Vauxhall press loans, her new role will see her coordinating all major launch events, whether in the UK or overseas. Amy will circulate initial invites, collate responses, and be a ‘one-stop shop’ for all media enquiries relating to major Vauxhall launch activity.
Amy also oversees Vauxhall product PR’s social media strategy, and ensures that all our latest news appears on Twitter, as well as on Vauxhall’s main media site.
